Project Brief:

Fire escape for flats in Barkingside, East London. To be fabricated in black-painted steel. Seven-tread staircase to mid-level landing. 180-degree return five-tread staircase to platform. 90-degree turn, single step to top of flat roof providing fire escape to five flats. Old structure removed, new staircase fabricated, delivered and installed.

I would be happy to recommend J&P Engineering in connection with two recent external staircase installations, both carried out in realistic timeframes, at competitive cost and on budget, in spite of some adverse weather and site conditions. Minimal disruption to occupants was caused and minor snagging issues and after-care has been dealt with efficiently.
